Lucian Freud
I’ve always been a big fan of Lucien Freud’s artwork and think that these photographs reflect the clear and direct way in which he worked perfectly. They’re so natural and raw, that you feel like you’re part of the sitting. What a joy it was to find these beauties!
On that note I’ll leave you with this:
"I've always been interested in extremes, but I'm not interested in doing freaks. I want to paint ordinary people with the attention freaks might get if they appeared in public. I don't want to use the fact that someone may be made differently as a point of interest."

Latitude Festival
Sadly, I do not have any beautiful photos of spice-filled souks, and mesmorising mosaics from my recent trip to Turkey. Unfortunately, my camera just wouldn't fit in my hand luggage (well, I am an Easy Jet girl at heart) and so therefore we had a temporary separating but thankfully we are now back on speaking terms after having a break.
However, today I am heading for Latitude festival and cannot wait to see the likes of Foals, Caribou, Suede, The National and British Sea Power. Watch this space for fun-fuelled Latitude photos...
The picture above is of some coloured lambs stationed at Latitude, as tweeted by the festival’s twitter account this morning. Enjoy!

Markus Lupfer Resort Mockumentary feat. Florence Welch
Puzzle of the Mysterious Mind / Markus Lupfer Resort 2012 from Partizan Darkroom on Vimeo.
Markus Lupfer bags the award for the best ever Resort Collection, as presented by me! Forget traditional catwalks and photoshoots, Lupfer has created a fantastic video in which to present his Resort Collection. The video is entitled ‘Discover the Puzzle of the Mysterious Mind’, and is a 60s style mockumentary that looks at the science of fashion.
However, the best is yet to come... It features a top fashion cast including Florence 'hoarder' Welch, Sadie 'asymmetric' Frost and is narrated by Margo Stilley. I've watched it four times in a row now, and I just can't stop...
